Norma Tregurtha leads Engagement and Markets at Bonsucro, the global sustainability platform for the sugarcane sector. She works across certified sugar, ethanol and emerging low-carbon fuel markets, connecting sustainable sugarcane products with evolving market opportunities. This includes expanding Bonsucro’s engagement in sustainable aviation fuel sector following its recent recognition under CORSIA.

Throughout her career, Norma has focused on bridging sustainability and commercial realities, working with producers, traders, buyers and policymakers to turn sustainability ambitions into practical approaches that deliver from field to market. Before joining Bonsucro, she spent more than ten years at ISEAL, where she was Director of Policy and Outreach. She holds a master's degree in economics from Stellenbosch University.
