Laura M. Walker is Head of Infectious Disease Biotherapeutics Discovery & Engineering at Moderna. Previously, she was co-founder and the Chief Scientific Officer of Invivyd, Inc (formerly Adagio Therapeutics), a biotechnology company focused on the development of antibodies to infectious disease targets where she oversaw a broad portfolio of research in the area of viral immunology, including the identification and engineering of potent and broadly neutralizing antibodies to advance into clinical development. Prior to joining Invivyd in 2020, Laura served as the Sr. Director of Antibody Sciences at Adimab, where she and her team focused on understanding human B cell responses to a wide variety of emerging viral pathogens, including Ebola, Zika, yellow fever, and SARS-CoV-2. Laura received her Ph.D. in Immunology and Microbiology at The Scripps Research Institute in 2012 under the mentorship of Dennis Burton.
