Céline Carlet currently serves as Vice President, Head of Transactions at Galapagos since May 2023 where she is responsible of structuring, negotiating and closing transactions for Immunology and Oncology. She recently led the global license deal with Adaptimmune for uza-cel. Before Galapagos she was an executive corporate development director at ADC Therapeutics and Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
Céline is a Pharmacist with dual background in drug development and business strategy. Through her 20+ years in global pharma/biotech companies such as Merck KGaA, Shire, Ferring and ADC Therapeutics she has led projects across the full spectrum of BD activities (Licensing, M&A and Alliance Management), geographies (Europe, US, China/Japan),Therapeutic Areas and modalities.
After having lost parents and close friends to cancers, Celine has relentlessly worked on cutting edge of science, looking to identify, evaluate and support investment in next-generation therapeutics, especially in Oncology, so they can reach patients sooner and make a life-changing difference.
Céline is born in the South of France (Toulouse ) and lives in Switzerland. Huge lover of mountains and outdoor activities, she completed several long distance trails in the Mont Blanc area.
