Dr. Monika Paulė is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience in the high-tech business and a Ph.D. in Business Management. Dr. Monika Paulė has been working in different managerial and leadership roles at Vilnius University, Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical company, Agency for Science, Innovations and Technologies, Biotech companies: Caszyme, Biocentras and IMD Technologies, High-tech company Tilde and others. For almost 10 years Dr. Monika Paulė lead the gene editing company Caszyme, where she acted as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. With Dr. Monika Paulė's leadership, Caszyme had gained recognition as a renowned expert in CRISPR gene editing field among partners worldwide.
Currently Dr. Monika Paulė serves as a Vice President and Board Member at the life sciences association “LithuaniaBIO”, also as a Vice President and Board Member at the biggest business confederation in Lithuania “Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists”. She is also the Board Member at Lithuanian Research Council and the Board member of Life Science Center at Vilnius University.
Dr. Monika Paulė has acquired Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2017 focused on Social Sciences, Management & Marketing from Vilnius University, & Senior Executive Education degree from IESE Business School, University of Barcelona, Strathmore Business School, INCAE Business School & Heidelberg University in 2019. Dr. Monika Paulė has been teaching Marketing, International Business, Innovations, Technology Transfer, and Intellectual Property Management for undergraduate and post-graduate students as well as practitionaires for more than 15 years.
Dr. Monika Paulė expertise focuses on strategic business development, high-tech products commercialization and marketing, technology transfer and intellectual property focusing on the Life Sciences and Health sectors. She has more than 15 years experience in managing international multi-parties scientific, research, commercialization and public projects under such programs as EU Horizon, Eureka, Eurostars, Framework 7, Framework 6, Interreg Europe, COST, Baltic Sea Region, as well as structural funds projects and infrastructure projects.
