Peter Llewellyn-Davies was born in London, UK and is a seasoned biotech executive, having worked in the industry for over 20 years. He completed a bi-lingual education as well as a career in investment banking, FMCG, chemicals, biotech, advisory and tech. His experience ranges from IPOs in US, UK and Germany, company foundations and M&A transactions in 5 continents from SME to listed companies, multi billion equity and debt financing from crossover, primary and secondary structures, syndicated loans and royalty sales as well as turnaround processes. In summer 2024 Peter and his team sold Vienna based Apeiron Biologics AG after a restructuring process to a US pharmaceutical group.

Peter is Founder and CEO of Accellerate Partners, which works with management teams to identify and implement new ideas, strategies, and directions to scale up and accellerate the business model. He is also co-founder and President of BIOTECH AUSTRIA as well as vice chairman of AIM London listed Shield Therapeutics plc. He was awarded a fellowship of the London Institute for Banking and Finance for his contributions to international finance.
