Vera Katz, Sr. Director at the life science business of Merck, is leading the regional sales organizations for Central Europe of the Process Solutions business. She has 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry in the areas of Commercial, Marketing, and Strategy. Starting in 2006 as a Product and Business Development Manager for APIs at Merck, Vera held various roles in the Marketing, Strategy and Commercial department for the Process Solutions division of Merck. Prior to joining Merck, Vera completed a PhD at the University of Kaiserslautern (Germany) and worked 5 years in the strategy division of a management consulting company.
