Zhou Gaobo, currently the Chief Investment Officer of the Company, is responsible for the Company's innovative drug investment and cooperation expansion, new investment platform construction, and strategic planning and practice. Before joining Simcere, Mr. Zhou Gaobo has accumulated more than 15 years of management consulting experience in the healthcare industry. He served as the Global Managing Partner and Co-Leader of the Greater China Healthcare Practice at McKinsey & Company, during which he was committed to providing strategic and management consulting services to leading companies in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical device, and life science investment, explored corporate strategies, innovative business models, digital transformation, and investment cooperation in the context of China's medical reform and innovation, and established the largest medical management consulting team in the industry. Prior to this, he worked on the R&D of antibody-based and fusion protein drugs at Human Genome Sciences (HGSI). Mr. Zhou Gaobo holds an MBA from Duke's Fuqua School of Business, a master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland, and a bachelor's degree in Genetics from Fudan University.
