Dr. Ejeagba O. Imo is a lecturer in the Department of Microbiology, Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Microbiology and Master of Science in Environmental Health Biology from Federal University of Technology Owerri. His research interest centers on interaction between microbial communities and their environment, biocorrosion, biofouling and the use of natural plant extracts in the control of microbial corrosion.

He has written several published scholarly scientific journals in the field of environmental pollution, biocorrosion and their inhibition by plant extracts. He is a member of National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE).
