Profile
Emma joined CEPI in 2017 and previously served as Director of Access and Private Partnerships. Responsible for the Equitable Access Policy and Business Development, Emma and her team bridge the demand for accessible, affordable medical countermeasures with the ability to build sustainable partnerships and related systems.
She has over 20 years’ experience of strategic transactions and collaborations in the life science industry. Her work enabling access to vaccines for low- and middle- income countries started in 2007 with a Tuberculosis vaccine public private partnership at the University of Oxford. More recently, as Vice President Legal Affairs and Deputy General Counsel at Emergent Biosolutions, Emma spent several years advising on strategy and structure of transactions related to outbreak preparedness, BARDA’s CIADM programme, and stockpiling.
Emma is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and an attorney in the State of New York.
