Dr. Oliver Keown is CEO and Founder of Oath Surgical, a company at the forefront of transforming the future of tech-enabled outpatient surgery. With 15 years of experience in investing and applying cutting-edge technologies within the surgical and healthcare industries, Dr. Keown has been dedicated to driving advancements that enhance patient outcomes while reducing healthcare costs.

Prior to establishing Oath Surgical, Dr. Keown was the Founder and Managing Director of Intuitive Ventures, building it into a successful $250M+ AUM multi-fund venture platform linked to surgical robotics pioneer, Intuitive Surgical. There, he spearheaded the development of a corporate innovation platform and venture capital brand, and a robust investment portfolio across digital health and AI, next generation MedTech, cybersecurity, and therapeutics.

Dr. Keown’s early career included tenures at GE Ventures and as a Clinical and Policy Advisor at the Institute of Global Health Innovation, Imperial College London. During these roles, he advised innovation projects across the UK, US, and globally, bridging technology, government, commercial, and academic sectors.

A thought leader in healthcare and surgical innovation, Dr. Keown is a former member of the California Initiative to Advance Precision Medicine, under Governor Newsom's administration. He holds an MD and a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
