This year, we will continue to bring dynamic showcases of innovative, sustainable and advanced technology directly impacting people, places, properties, portfolios, energy use and operational efficiencies within the built environment from the entire lifecycle of a building.

Please follow the steps below to come to Alberta for BUILDEX Alberta

During registration, please provide proof of your company’s business in design, construction, or real estate management. Proof should include your position as an employee or owner, for example by providing a link to your business website, LinkedIn profile, and / or Facebook business page.

  • If your business does not have an online presence, email supplemental proof of business documents to the BUILDEXSHOWS@informa.com with your registration confirmation number to help us verify your registration.
  • Within 10 business days (Monday to Friday) the BUILDEX will verify your registration and issue a visa letter. If BUILDEX is unable to verify your business, the registration will be cancelled and refund a will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Due to privacy laws in Canada, BUILDEX cannot accept personal documents - do not send passport copies to us.
  • If your visa processing and delivery timeline requires more than 6 weeks, BUILDEX advises international guests not register after September 9th 2026

International Visitor Process

Thank you for your interest in attending BUILDEX Alberta 2026. Due to the number of applications that we receive, we cannot work with applicants on a personal basis. Please do not email the show for requests to expedite visa requests.

Fees & cancellations

You may cancel or transfer your registration in accordance with the following cancellation policy:

  • All passes are non-refundable.
  • International registration payments will not be refunded if you are denied a visa, please research the visa delivery time and requirements here prior to your registration for the BUILDEX Show.
  • In the case that a delegate will not be able to use their purchased pass, the delegate may elect to find a replacement to utilize the pass and must notify BUILDEX via email to transfer the pass information over to the new delegate. The deadline for transfer requests is September 21st, 2026
  • Transfer requests MUST be emailed to BUILDEXSHOWS@informa.com.
  • Transfers will only be permitted if a request is submitted
    to BUILDEXSHOWS@informa.com in advance of the event. Delegate registrations are issued for individual use only and cannot be shared with any person during the event.
  • You may not purchase passes as an agent for any third party, sell or otherwise transfer your pass to others, or exploit the registration commercially or non-commercially in any way.
  • Please note that the conference program is subject to change, including programming cancellations and scheduling. BUILDEX is not responsible and refunds will not be provided under these circumstances. Please check the website for the most up-to-date scheduling.
  • Payment of registration confirms that you have read, understand, agree and will comply with the published registration cancellation and transfer policy.
