Breakfast Keynote: RESILIENT - Mental Health, Leadership, and the Power of Showing Up
For years, the ICBA Construction Leaders Breakfast has been a defining tradition that officially kicks off BUILDEX Alberta each year. It brings together more than 600 senior leaders from across the construction industry for timely, high-level conversations on the issues that matter most to Alberta's economy, workforce, and future.
Last year in Vancouver, Kevin and Michael's conversation on mental health and leadership ended with a standing ovation from over 1,000 industry leaders. This year, they're coming to Calgary for the fourth annual ICBA Construction Leaders Breakfast at the BMO Centre.
What to Expect:
- Two powerful voices. Former NHL player Kevin Bieksa and renowned broadcaster Michael Landsberg share honest stories about elite performance, personal adversity, and resilience
- Real leadership insights. A grounded conversation on leading under pressure, vulnerability, and human connection
- Mental health matters. Practical perspectives on showing up for yourself and others when it matters most
- Engaging dialogue. Storytelling, insight, humour, and moments that stay with you long after the morning ends
Our industry is defined by pressure, deadlines, and constant demands. This conversation goes beyond leadership, it's about resilience and the power of showing up.
