Stuart Leatherby is the Chief Commercial Officer at Daman. Under his stewardship, Daman seeks to serve an ever greater number of customers with tailored products and services which ensure dependable access to the most trusted care network in the UAE.

Mr. Leatherby oversees the development and execution of Daman’s ongoing commercial strategy, identifying future opportunities to grow the insurer’s customer base and provide a wider number of businesses and individuals with access to the most trusted coverage network in the UAE. Through his extensive commercial acumen, he protects investments made by Daman’s customers and the government of Abu Dhabi. Using his extensive experience in the insurance sector, Mr. Leatherby enables Daman to use its industry leading expertise to implement sound, rigorous insurance underwriting practices.

In a career spanning over thirty years, he has accrued a wide range of corporate experience with health insurers in both the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. Mr. Leatherby has held corporate leadership positions with insurers including Generali Global Health in the United Kingdom and Aetna International and Now Health International in the United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Leatherby is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Surrey.
