Profile
After graduating from the Psychology Department of Boğaziçi University, he focused on psychometric modeling and prediction of human behavior in the field of organisational psychology. In this context, he obtained his doctoral degree in Organisational Behavior with a thesis on Transformational leadership, psychological capital, and performance. In parallel, to add reflections of human behavior in the realm of relationships to his studies, he completed the "Relationship Therapies" training approved by the European Family Therapy Association under the supervision of Dr. Murat Dokur. For 10 years, aiming to integrate his academic studies with the business world, he served in Human Resources and Talent Management departments of global companies such as Starbucks, Kordsa Global, and Ericsson. During the same period, he participated in numerous projects both domestically and internationally, conducting projects on psychometric modeling of behavior for many leading institutions. He lectured as an academician on modeling human behavior with advanced statistical methods and machine learning at Boğaziçi and Istanbul Şehir Universities. Focusing his academic studies on FLOW experience, he created a new approach called Flow Intelligence (FlowQ). In 2017, he established FlowQ Talent Management Systems Inc. FlowQ systems, which provide deep down bias free human analytics in 28 languages, are used in more than 400 national and international companies in 50 countries for modeling human behavior. Dr. Özcan has developed numerous psychometric tools by integrating behavioral science into the business world. His professional expertise and areas of interest include leadership, characteristics of talented employees, characteristics of high-performing employees, the use of neuropsychological tests in recruitment, organisational climate, and emotional intelligence. He continues his work on predictive modeling of behavior with a database of more than 2.5 million human evaluations.
