Cian Mulligan is a Research Lead at King Abullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As part of the Energy Macro and Micro-Economics team, he specializes in Gulf labour markets and leads a research project on the employment potential of the energy transition. Cian has a decade of international research expertise in labour economics and analysis of local content policies and has also advised public and private sector bodies on these issues. His current research focuses on optimizing localization strategies for renewable energy projects in Saudi Arabia.
