Profile

Claire is the Founding Director & Principal of the global training company Event Academy. She is an experienced event producer, charity fundraising professional and behaviour profiling expert.

Claire has a degree in International Business & Marketing, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a seasoned trainer in event leadership, Mental Health advisor for the events industry and a behavioral expert.

Claire has worked in an event management or consultancy capacity for clients in the USA, UK, Europe, China, Peru, Israel, Nepal and Vietnam and now KSA, to name but a few.

After working as a marketer for an international financial investment company in Boston USA, Claire began her UK career working for members of the British Royal Family where she developed exceptional diplomatic skills and learnt how to plan and implement special occasions with VIPs. She then went on to carve a successful career in the not-for-profit sector.

Over her 30 year career, Claire has managed large-scale beneficiary events in both the British and international arenas. She has also dealt extensively with corporate event sponsors and is an experienced International Challenge Event Director. She founded the Event Academy in 2011 and together with her business partners, has created the UK's leading event management training company - www.eventacademy.com

She is also a trained Voiceover artist and a second Dan (Black Belt) in Karate.
