David is a seasoned event and venue management professional with over 20 years of global experience, including 12 years in the Middle East. He has led commercial strategy and the end-to-end execution of some of the region’s most high-profile events, including the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and commercialization of major venues including Etihad Arena, Etihad Park, and Zayed Sports City.

As Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer at Ethara, David leads the development and roll-out of the company’s business strategy, driving strategic partnerships, and expanding its venues and events portfolio. Throughout his career, he has contributed his skillset to world-class events such as the London 2012 Olympic Games, America’s Cup, and ICC World Cup.

David holds an MBA from the London School of Economics, a Postgraduate Certificate in Sport and Law from King’s College London, and an LLB in Law from Bristol University.
