Tom Ralston’s career in the events industry began in 2007, working as a Lighting Engineer and then Project Manager with dbn Lighting, Manchester, UK. In 2011, he relocated to Dubai and joined eclipse Staging Services (acquired by Encore - 2019), delivering some of the largest & highest profile shows in the region, with artists such as Lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, Bruno Mars and Coldplay. In 2013 he was awarded the Middle East Young Achiever of the year at the Middle East Event Awards.

Tom’s role within the company progressed in 2017 to the position of Sales Director, to his current role as Regional Director GSO Middle East. He has been instrumental in developing the company’s sales structure, its strategic responsibility for the development of key accounts and extending its client base, resulting in large scale contracts including the UAE Union Day Celebrations and the Special Olympics Opening Ceremony. Tom’s attention to detail ensures he brings real value and ingenuity to every project.

Tom works alongside the entire Regional GSO teamwork, with technical, creative services and operational support to consult on Encore’s breadth of services to clients, while managing budget expectations, event profitability, and exceeding customer expectations.
