Human Resources Director, Middle East & Africa at Fragomen FZ LLC


Sarah is a Human Resources Director with over 18 years of experience in Human Resources management. In her role as Human Resources Director for the Middle East & Africa for Fragomen she collaborates with senior leadership of the region to strategically manage people strategies to support the business in achieving its business goals and integrating the Human Resources function within the overall business strategy. She plays an active role in people related decisions and takes the lead on the implementation of programs created for the wider region.
Sarah has expertise in manpower planning, talent acquisition, counselling and conflict management, employee engagement & retention, talent management, talent development, HR policies & procedures, compensation and benefits, organizational development and change management, and culture management.
Sarah is passionate about and is taking the lead in the Firms Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives including Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Wellbeing, and Environment & Sustainability.
She has designed and implemented numerous regional Talent Development programs for new joiners and managers, developed compensation & benefits plans to align the firm to market benchmarks, and played a key role in rolling out retention and engagement initiatives.
Sarah has been with Fragomen for 9 years, prior to working for Fragomen she worked for a technology company in the UAE managing the Human Resources function there making her total time in the UAE 11 years.
Prior to coming to the UAE, Sarah was born and raised in Kuwait, and started her career in Human Resources in a Real Estate Company with branches in the Gulf Region. She set up the Human Resources function for the Company and managed it for 8 years.

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. She also participated in the Human Resources Professional Certificate (PHR) review course and is a certified mental health first aider from MHFA England.
