BUILDEX Vancouver is proud to offer attendees discounted rates at a number of hotels within walking distance or a short drive away from the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Please note that room types and availability are limited. We encourage you to book in advance to guarantee a room.
All room blocks as noted below are made exclusively for BUILDEX Vancouver attendees and exhibitors. Please reserve your accommodations directly through the hotels, using the booking code as noted below. If a third party housing company has tried to solicit you we ask you to please send their name, telephone number and the date to firstname.lastname@example.org as our Legal Counsel is taking steps to protect conference attendees from unauthorized third party solicitations. Miscellaneous Charges and Fees
For guests of the Fairmont Waterfront, please be aware of the following charges and fees that are your responsibility (if applicable) and not included in the cost of your accommodation:
Baggage Handling (Porterage)
Baggage Handling fees have been established at $7.50 per piece round trip plus 16% tax. Baggage Handling is mandatory for all Group Arrivals.
Fees have been established at $4.00 CAD per room per delivery plus 5% GST and 11% accommodation tax for standard deliveries and $6.00 CAD per room per delivery plus 5% GST and 11% accommodation tax if a special set up is required.
Please be advised that the hotel is a non-smoking property. If there is evidence that there has been smoking in a room or suite, a minimum surcharge of $250 will apply in order to deep clean and, under certain circumstances, replace furnishings in the room. This charge will be applied to the individual guest account and paid upon checkout.
Cancellation of individual reservations made up to 48 hours prior to arrival will be accepted, a one night deposit and taxes, processed at time of reservation will be forfeited.
