General Policies & Procedures

Informa and The Buildings Show care strongly about our network of exhibitors, colleagues and industry communities. It is our top priority to ensure our events will be organized in accordance with official government and local authority guidelines, as well as any venue or location specific regulations.  We continue to monitor any changes in the regulations and items will be amended to ensure continued compliance of said regulations.

As per the announcement made on Sept 1, 2021 by the Ontario government, all patrons attending The Buildings Show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre will be required to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination and proof of identification in order to access the event. You will be required to show your vaccination record along with photo identification. Individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions will be permitted to enter with a doctor’s note along with a daily negative COVID-19 antigen test result that is not more than 24hrs old at time of entry to the convention centre. Self-administered at-home tests will not be accepted. These antigen tests, and all costs associated, will be the exclusive responsibility of the individual.

The Buildings Show aims to deliver the highest levels of hygiene and safety at our events providing our community reassurance and confidence that they are participating in a safe and controlled environment. Informa has collaborated with association partners and relevant authorities to develop industry wide AllSecure Health & Safety standards that will raise the bar on safety, hygiene and high-quality event experiences.
