Show Policies

These terms and conditions apply between the person, firm, company or other entity specified on your booking form ("you" or "your") and the Informa Group company that is the owner, organizer, operator and/or manager of the event/conference ("Informa"), for attendee / delegate registrations for the event specified on your booking form ("Event"). Please read them carefully as they contain important information. By submitting your registration to attend the Event, ("your registration") you agree to be bound by these terms to the exclusion of all other terms. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms, Informa will be unable to accept your registration.

Health & Safety

Informa and The Buildings Show care strongly about our network of exhibitors, colleagues and industry communities. It is our top priority to ensure our events will be organized in accordance with official government and local authority guidelines, as well as any venue or location specific regulations. We continue to monitor any changes in the regulations and items will be amended to ensure continued compliance of said regulations.

Please note that all restrictions and requirements are subject to change at any time to best protect the health and safety of all its audiences in accordance with government guidelines and legal allowances.

The trade show floor is intended to be a professional Business-to-Business environment and includes live onsite demos, often involving heavy machinery - for safety reasons we highly recommend that children do not attend.

We are committed to making the design, construction, and real estate industries more diverse, inclusive and equitable. As part of this commitment, The Buildings Show is dedicated to providing a safe and accepting environment at our events for all attendees, exhibitors, staff, security, management, speakers, sponsors, media, volunteers, or any other participants. We welcome people of all ethnicities, genders, gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, abilities, physical appearances, body sizes, and religions.

The Buildings Show acknowledges that no one is perfect, but everyone has the capacity to learn, grow, and change. We are all capable of common courtesy and respect; this Code of Conduct provides us with guidelines on how to do this.

Community

First and foremost in creating an inclusive community is our behaviour towards each other, both on-site and online. Help us create a kind and inclusive community that harnesses the collective knowledge, creativity, and enthusiasm of our customer base to empower everyone for success.

Be respectful, welcoming, and tolerant of yourself, fellow exhibitors, visitors, staff, venue staff, volunteers, managers, and the Show, regardless of ethnicity, gender, gender identity and expression, economic status, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, age, national origin, race, and religious identity's objective of your personal and/or religious beliefs.

Respect personal space and boundaries. Do not touch people or their assistive devices/equipment without consent. Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants. Alert conference organizers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.

We request discussions pertaining to the Show be constructive and aimed at starting a healthy dialogue to improve the event. Share feedback in a way that encourages dialogue and debate rather than negativity. If you have an issue or complaint, we want to hear it. Please report issues, feedback and suggestions for improvements to events@informacanada.com so that we can listen to and address your concerns.
