At McCoin, I oversee a broad range of HR and people operations activities, including talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, HR policies and procedures, performance management, attendance and leave administration, manpower planning, employee engagement, and HR compliance.

A significant part of my role is also supporting the organization as it develops within the fintech and virtual assets sector. This means ensuring that our people’s processes and organizational structure are aligned with the company’s operational and regulatory requirements.

As the company evolves, my role is also to make sure that we have the right people, in the right roles, with the right structures and processes to support sustainable growth.

I believe culture should be intentional rather than something that develops accidentally.

At McCoin, I focus on creating clarity around roles and responsibilities, establishing consistent HR practices, hiring people who are aligned with both the requirements of the role and the organization’s values, and creating an environment where employees understand what is expected of them and how they can contribute.

From a talent perspective, I look at both our current requirements and future organizational needs. As we grow, HR needs to anticipate what capabilities the business will require rather than simply filling vacancies when they arise.

Ultimately, my goal is to help build a team that is capable, accountable, adaptable, and aligned with the company’s direction.
