Ms Gargi Banerjee, GPHR, SPHRi is certified as a Senior Global Professional in Human Resources (HRCI, USA) and an astute leader working in the strategic HR domain since last 15+years. She is currently heading the Talent Management, Learning and Organization Development function in Gulf Pharmaceuticals Industries with responsibility for leading the HR & organization transformation both domestically and internationally.

In her present role Ms. Gargi is responsible for driving the overall ‘people strategy’ through global talent management, leadership development, performance management, capability building, diversity and inclusion, organizational design , cultural development and employee engagement in Julphar in the MEA region.

With a strong experience of Indian and South Asian subcontinent, working closely with leadership team from UK & USA in all her past as well as present assignment in MEA region, Ms Gargi has been instrumental in driving structured change management across functions and cultures. Her leadership and strong people centric strategies has supported business to leverage on unleashing human potential, added value to the stakeholders, uplifted the impact of HR across markets & geographies by fulfilling the performance & aspirations of thousands of employees around the world.

She has worked with major multinational organizations like, Novo Nordisk, Johnson & Johnson, Amway, Reckitt Benckiser, Zydus Cadila group etc & having a strong sectoral knowhow of Pharmaceuticals, Medical & FMCG industries. Over years Ms Gargi has worked closely with the CXOs to define, drive & implement business value adding impactful Human Resources Strategy on ground.

Ms Gargi serves as a guest faculty in HRM & expert panellist in multiple top rated academic institutions in UAE & India and recipient of a prestigious Best Corporate Talent Development Awards in 2017 for her significant work in Cadila Pharma. She holds a PGDHRM from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Master’s in Biology from University of Calcutta. In 2021- 2022 her participation as a panellist in HR congress- Europe & recent interaction students at Fore School of Management, India has gained a lot of appreciation from the HRM fraternity.

She is married with 1 daughter & lives with her family in Dubai, UAE. An avid sports enthusiast, nature lover, a reader & humanitarian, Ms Gargi also plays the game of Badminton in her past time.
