Jessyca Joyekurun is Director of People, Compliance and Corporate Governance at MedQuick UAE & Global, a Dubai based health tech company built by social entrepreneurs on a global mission to revolutionise inclusive digital healthcare.

A Bachelor of Laws graduate with a Postgraduate in Human Resource Management, both earned in the United Kingdom, she has spent 18+ years engineering HR and regulatory compliance across seven jurisdictions, bringing a legal compliance lens, not an HR only one, to governance at every level.

She founded Expand Human Resources in 2012 and ComplianceHR in 2024, building a boutique HR compliance, corporate training, and employment law practice trusted by 200+ organisations across Africa. She is a 2014 Barack Obama Mandela Washington Fellowship alumna (Yale School of Management, USA).

Having served as Master of Ceremonies and led numerous national conferences and corporate trainings across Mauritius and Tanzania, Jessyca commands a room by voice alone. Her presence has carried her to an international stage: invited as a Global Speaker by the King of Morocco at GES 2014, and selected to represent Mauritius as a delegate at Stanford University for GES 2016.
