FAQs
How do I register?
DO NOT SUBMIT registration for yourself. We will register you as a speaker in early November. Your Speaker Registration Confirmation email, which you will receive at the beginning of November, will show a link to allow you to login and complete your registration. Your speaker registration will provide you with free admission to any other sessions of your choice, except for any third-party events. It also provides you with free admission to the exhibit hall and all the show floor programming for all three days of the show.
Is there a templated slide deck I should be using?
We ask that speakers add a templated cover and end slide. The template can be accessed here.
Can I invite guests to my session?
Promo codes for three complimentary registrations are provided to each speaker. Email Nataliya Antonenko at nataliya.antonenko@informa.com to request your promo code.
You can share your promo codes with your clients, associates and colleagues allowing them to register for your session free of charge. The code also includes free access to the expo and its programming for all three days of the show. Please do not use this code for yourself as you will be registered as a speaker.
What AV and equipment will be provided?
Your session room will be equipped with a screen, LCD projector, podium and table-top wired microphones (to ensure sound quality) to the number of speakers in your session. Please note that internet connection is NOT provided in the seminar room. Bring your own laptop computer and power cord. If your session is a panel, please coordinate with your moderator. If you require any additional equipment, please inform me via email by October 4.
Do I need to bring my own laptop?
Yes, unless otherwise communicated, your session will NOT be equipped with a laptop. Bring your own laptop computer and power cord. If your session is a panel, please coordinate with your moderator. A copy of your slide deck should be saved locally on the computer and on a USB stick.
Are the session rooms equipped with computers?
If your session is in a breakout room, you are requested to bring your own if required for the presentation. If you forget to bring a computer notify your room monitor and they will notify TBS team members for assistance.
I have my presentation on a USB, how do I project it?
Speakers are requested to bring their own computers if required for the presentation. Please notify your room monitor if you do not have a computer with you and they will notify TBS team members for assistance.
Are slide decks being shared with attendees?
We will not be collecting and/or distributing your presentation material to the audience. If your presentation will be available for distribution, invite attendees onsite to contact you directly after the show to receive a copy.
Is Wi-Fi available?
The show is not providing Wi-Fi for this event.
How early should I arrive at the event?
Please check in and pick-up your badge 45 minutes before the start of your session at the registration desk/speaker badge pick-up area at the 600 level of the South Building. Your name badge, which serves as your pass to the whole event, will NOT be emailed in advance.
Where do I get a parking pass?
Parking is not provided for speakers. Parking options around MTCC are limited. The show encourages all participants to take transit to the venue.
Where do I pick up my badge?
Please pick up your speaker badge at the speaker registration desk on Level 600. If misplaced or damaged, the speaker badge can be reprinted on request.
In which room is my session?
The location (room or stage) for your session should be printed on the back of your speaker badge.
Where is the speaker ready room?
For your convenience, Room 704 (South Building) on Level 700 is reserved as a Speaker Ready Room. Valuables should not be left in the room as they will not be monitored. If you are leaving your coat, place your business card in a pocket so that it can be returned to you should it be lost or misplaced.
Is a complimentary lunch available for speakers?
Complimentary lunch is NOT available for speakers. Some refreshments will be available in the Speaker Ready Room located in Room 704 (South Building) on Level 700.
Can I attend other sessions?
Your speaker registration provides you with free admission to any other sessions of your choice. You can proceed to the session room and advise the room to monitor that you are not registered but would like to attend. Some sessions are sold out and preference will be given to the attendees that have pre-registered.
My company is also exhibiting, where is my booth?
Exhibitor booths are located on Level 800. Each space is marked with a booth number. To access the exhibitor list, click here.
