The Buildings Show 2025 Speaker Resource Hub

DO NOT SUBMIT registration for yourself. We will register you as a speaker in early November. Your Speaker Registration Confirmation email, which you will receive at the beginning of November, will show a link to allow you to login and complete your registration. Your speaker registration will provide you with free admission to any other sessions of your choice, except for any third-party events. It also provides you with free admission to the exhibit hall and all the show floor programming for all three days of the show.

We ask that speakers add a templated cover and end slide. The template can be accessed here.

NEW FOR 2025!. We are excited to launch an electronic pass distribution portal! Links for five complimentary registrations are provided to each speaker. Email Nataliya Antonenko at nataliya.antonenko@informa.com to request your access if you have not received it directly from our registration department.

You can share these links with your clients, associates and colleagues allowing them to register for your session free of charge. This registration also includes free access to the expo and its programming for all three days of the show. Please do not use for yourself as you will be registered as a speaker in early November.

Your session room will be equipped with a screen, LCD projector, podium and table-top wired microphones (to ensure sound quality) to the number of speakers in your session. Please note that internet connection is NOT provided in the seminar room. Bring your own laptop computer and power cord. A copy of your slide deck should be saved locally on the computer and on a USB stick. If your session is a panel, please coordinate with your moderator. If you require any additional equipment, please inform us via email by October 3.

If your session is in a breakout room, you are requested to bring your own if required for the presentation. If you forget to bring a computer notify your room monitor and they will notify TBS team members for assistance.

We will not be collecting and/or distributing your presentation material to the audience. If your presentation will be available for distribution, invite attendees onsite to contact you directly after the show to receive a copy.

The show is not providing Wi-Fi for this event.

Please check in and pick-up your badge 45 minutes before the start of your session at the registration desk/speaker badge pick-up area per your session location. South Building - at the 600 level. North Building – 200 level. Allow 15 min walk between the South and the North buildings if required. Your name badge, which serves as your pass to the whole event, will NOT be emailed in advance.

Parking is not provided for speakers. Parking options around MTCC are limited. The show encourages all participants to take transit to the venue.

Please pick-up your speaker badge 45 minutes before the start of your session at the registration desk/speaker badge pick-up area per your session location. South Building - at the 600 level. North Building – 200 level. Allow 10 min walk between the South and the North buildings if required. If misplaced or damaged, the speaker badge can be reprinted on request.

The location (room or stage) for your session should be printed on the back of your speaker badge.

For your convenience, Room 704 (South Building) and Room 205CD (North Building) are reserved as Speaker Ready Rooms. Valuables should not be left in the rooms as they will not be monitored. If you are leaving your coat, place your business card in a pocket so that it can be returned to you should it be lost or misplaced.

Complimentary lunch is NOT available for speakers. Some refreshments will be available in the Speaker Ready Room located in Room 704 (South Building) on Level 700.

Your speaker registration provides you with free admission to any other sessions of your choice. You can proceed to the session room and advise the room to monitor that you are not registered but would like to attend. Some sessions are sold out and preference will be given to the attendees that have pre-registered.

Please note that for 2025, The Buildings Show is utilizing both the North Building (300-level) and South Building (800-level) of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Each space is marked with a booth number. To access the exhibitor list, click here.
