TECHTalk Keynote Coaching

Before planning your 15-minute TECHTalk, make sure to watch this short video from Greg Palmer (Finovate VP and MC).

Greg will share tips for creating a presentation that will engage the audience, clearly communicate why your technology is innovative/interesting, and maximize the value of your keynote. He's seen hundreds of presentations and has a lot of experience to share with you.

He'll also briefly touch on the requirements and setup for recording your TECHTalk.

TECHTalk Keynote Rehearsal & Recording

Each call is 30 minutes with Heather and the A/V team. Calls are on Fridays: April 16, 23, and 30.

You have the option to book one or two calls. If you book two calls, the first will be used as a rehearsal call. If you book only one call, we'll record your presentation during it.

When scheduling your call, please indicate whether it is your rehearsal or recording call.

Invoice Payment

You'll receive your invoice via email from customer service within a week of signing the speaker contract. Please email them directly with questions or concerns.

Due 30 days after receipt of invoice and before the event.

Company Profile Form

The information in this form will be used to market your keynote and workshop before the event. It will also be used during the event in the digital event booklet and shown on Finovate.com next to your keynote video after the event. The information provided should not be confidential.

You can view sample profile pages from previous events on finovate.com for guidance.

Virtual Hub Requirements

This guide outlines the content you will submit for your virtual hub on the event platform, ConnectMe, for FinovateSpring. It also contains important specs for that content and directions on how to send the content to Finovate. Please make sure to submit this Word Document with the rest of your content inside a single file folder.

Submit by April 23.

Prescheduled 1-to-1 Meetings

The speaker package includes 5 1-to-1 prescheduled meetings with attendees matching your preferred target audience facilitated by the VIP Relationship Manager. These will be scheduled during the event on May 10-13.

The VIP Relationship Manager, Adam Baxter, will reach out soon to arrange these meetings.

Nominate VIP Guests

If you would like to nominate someone for a free VIP guess pass, note they are required to work for an end user (i.e., Bank, Insurer) and hold a C-level, Director or VP title within technology, innovation or digital.

If your chosen prospect(s) do not fit within this criteria, we will not be able to grant a complimentary pass, but, if you feel comfortable, you can share your 60% or 20% ticket discount with them.

TECHTalk Keynote Presentation

In 15-minute TECHTalks, speakers can debut new technology, share use case studies, or explore thought leadership pieces (e.g., the pillars of successful development teams, your technologies' evolution to continually meet customer demands, the perfect product owner, etc.).

Workshop

In these workshops, speakers have 90 minutes to engage with attendees in small groups. Run a hands-on session integrating an API, hold a mini-coding competition with a prize, or walk through tutorials or best practices (when building AI products, for example).

The goal of these workshops is to familiarize technology teams with your products, while supplying the interaction that attracts them: engagement, feedback, Q&A.

Speaker and Team Event Tickets

The speaker package includes two free speaker tickets, 60% discounted tickets for your team, and 20% discounted tickets for social media.

Speaker Tickets

While the keynote presentation is prerecorded, the workshop takes place live. Each FinDEVr package includes two free speaker tickets for the workshop.

We'll register your two speakers for the event based on the information you supply in the company profile form.

Team Ticket Discount

Each package contains tickets discounted 60% for your team members, customers, VIPs, etc. This discount can be used on tickets to just the FinDEVr day ($99 before the discount) or all three days of FinovateSpring ($699 until April 30). The discount code is FKV2376VTFD60.
