NORM is a premier annual conference where one can learn about new and developing issues and regulations affecting industries that must deal with naturally occurring radioactive material. The conference is presented in a casual manner that encourages networking and exchange of ideas.

For anyone dealing with NORM/TENORM issues, this conference is a "must attend". From measurement and analysis, to waste management, to regulations, and essential contacts, the NORM conference is the place to get the latest information and meet with the experts in this special waste arena.

NORM Global demonstrated that yet much has to be done in the direction of having in place holistic approach to NORM management. Challenges seem to be similar in different countries and overcoming these challenges will depend a lot in finding common grounds at the international level. Understanding of international consensus as reflected in IAEA safety Standards is crucial. Therefore, events like this will enable enhanced exchange of experience and knowledge in the pursuit of approaches to manage NORM in a safe, timely and cost-effective way, particularly in the context of the circular economy

Was a pleasure and rewarding experience to have participated. This was the 4th or 5th of the Informa NORM meetings I have attended and presented at. Perhaps the most complex, given the International aspects and remote participations, as well as the most well organized of them all.
