Every quarter, we list and publish top-performing SMA managers encompassing 50 different universes, making it a go-to resource for asset and wealth managers. Originally comprised of six different categories, the award has expanded to include Bull & Bear Masters as well as a Manager of the Decade, awarded to managers who have outperformed their relative benchmark for the last 10 years – an impressive feat. How are PSN Top Guns Winners selected?

The PSN Top Guns awards incorporate some of the most stringent quantitative screens, considering a manager’s correlation to its style benchmark, performance relative to the benchmark and risk relative to its peer group.

Awards are handed out across six different categories, of which each category has a different set of criteria. The categories include 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-stars as well as the above-mentioned Manager of the Decade and Bull & Bear Markets.
