Ali Abu Haliqa

SVP - Human Capital & Corporate Services at Mubadala Energy

Ali AbuHaliqa is responsible for leading and managing the Human Capital & Corporate Services functions at Mubadala Energy, and previously with Mubadala Development Company, Mubadala MOG, and Mubadala BMS. He has extensive knowledge of Human Capital, namely Employee Relations, Compensation Benefits, and Recruitment. In addition, he brings with him more than 14 years of experience gained across various roles held in various sections of the Human Capital department, including Employee relations, recruitment, Compensation and Benefits, and Talent Management.

During his tenure with Mubadala Energy, Ali successfully planned and executed various major projects in different areas within the Human Capital department & General Services. To mention a few, the establishment of the Oracle System at Mubadala Energy, the automation of the Promotions System, a new Global Recruitment System, and played a major role in the establishment of Mubadala Petroleum (MP) organization in 2012. Additionally, established the Human Capital policies and procedures for Abu Dhabi and overseas offices, and actively participated in setting MP salary and title structures. Worked closely with Mubadala Energy senior management on some strategic initiatives such as Emiratization and delivering on the company’s Business strategy particularly workforce plan and cost optimization.

Ali joined the Mubadala group in 2010. Before joining Mubadala Energy, he worked in a highly diversified private sector business based in the UAE.

Ali holds a BSc degree in Human Resources Management from the Abu Dhabi University in UAE and MSc degree in Human Resources Management from Abu Dhabi University.
