Upcoming Webinar!
Thursday, January 16th at 12:00pm PT
As the BC market shifts to energy-efficient and low-carbon buildings, Domestic Hot Water (DHW) energy consumption has emerged as the primary energy use in new residential buildings. As such, the widespread adoption of DHW heat pumps will be key to meeting climate targets, however adoption of these systems has been slower compared to HVAC heat pumps. Aiming to accelerate adoption, new BC Housing guidance addresses major knowledge gaps and areas needing clarification to support industry implementation.
Our next BUILDEX Connects webinar is presented in partnership with the Building to Electrification Coalition (B2E), a program area of Zero Emissions Innovation Centre (ZEIC). The session titled Domestic Hot Water Heat Pump Design in Multi-Family Residential Buildings in British Columbia, will provide valuable insights into DHW heat pump system fundamentals, the current market landscape, available products, key design considerations and more.

Mariko Michasiw, B2E Program Manager, Zero Emissions Innovation Centre
