Greenbuild's 2024 Session Agenda

The session agenda is designed for everyone within the green building community. Our Advisory Groups carefully selected all of this year's sessions to address the opportunities and challenges you and your project teams face today.

View the education sessions below for this year's courses, workshops, tours, CE opportunities, and more!

How to Read the Session Agenda

If you’re new to Greenbuild, there are a few things to keep in mind when browsing and sorting through our 100+ sessions.

  • Learning Levels: Greenbuild offers courses for attendees at all levels. The course description shows that each session is listed as Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert. These will help you determine the learning level that you can expect. More details on the learning levels here
  • Sorting Sessions: Looking for a specific topic? You can filter by track, pass type, learning level, or by typing in the search bar in the top corner. Once we launch the show app this summer, you can build a custom schedule with your selected sessions.
  • CEs: Many sessions provide continuing education credits (AIA, GBCI, IDCEC). A filter will be added to the agenda this summer allowing you to search by CE-accreditation. More details on our CEs here.

How do I determine the right learning level?

Each Greenbuild session will specify the knowledge level, learning objectives, and materials so attendees can determine if it will meet their professional development needs. The following guide will help you determine the learning level that is right for you:

  • Basic: Course presents introductory concepts and a general understanding of the topic; learners should have minimal to no prerequisite knowledge and a limited interaction with course material.
  • Intermediate : Course presents detailed, in-depth materials and instruction; learners should have some prerequisite knowledge and the ability to apply information in practice applications.
  • Advanced: Course presents sufficient material and opportunities to gain new knowledge, practice application, apply information, and complete a definitive action; learners should have preexisting knowledge.
  • Expert: Course presents detailed training on specific topics with opportunities to be fully engaged with materials and activities, and to demonstrate a mastery of content through coursework; learners should have extensive prior knowledge or experience with the topic.
