Mick Dalrymple, LEED Fellow (BD+C, Homes), serves the University of Southern California community as its inaugural Chief Sustainability Officer, working collaboratively to achieve the educational, research, and operational goals of USC’s Assignment: Earth sustainability leadership framework. Dalrymple previously helped Arizona State University achieve climate neutrality in 2019 – six years ahead of schedule and championed the LEED-ND Gold certification for its expansive Novus Innovation Corridor. He led other public-private partnership projects domestically and internationally for ASU and its Walton Global Sustainability Solutions Services involving circular economy, algal biofuels, tree & shade master plans, green schools, and Energize Phoenix, an urban-scale energy efficiency program.
Dalrymple also had the good fortune of working with amazing changemakers to form the Arizona chapter of the US Green Building Council in 2001, host Greenbuild in 2009, and serve on the original Chapter Steering Committee and on the national Board of Directors, among several other committees. He is a produced feature film screenwriter with an extensive background in film and television production and visual effects.
