Food Boxes
Farm to Fork Activation
We invite you to help us pack fresh food boxes filled with rescued fruits and vegetables for local Los Angeles families facing food insecurity.
How it works:
- Grab some fresh produce
- Add shelf-stable donations from our partners
- Write a note of encouragement to include in each box
Each box packed helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions, supports community wellness, and contributes to a more circular, equitable food system.
About A.B. Jones & Co.
A.B. Jones & Co. is a mission-driven social venture based in Southern California that rescues surplus food, regenerates local soils through vermiculture and composting, and strengthens community resilience. Their work transforms “waste” into a valuable resource—feeding families, enriching farms, and creating climate-smart solutions.
Through partnerships like this one, A.B. Jones & Co.:
- Fights food insecurity by redistributing fresh produce
- Builds soil health through regenerative vermiculture practices
- Reduces methane from landfilled organics
- Creates co-op opportunities for local farmers
- Protects communities from wildfires by managing organic waste in high-risk zones
When we waste less, we feed more—and grow a better future.
Hygiene Kits
Soap Saves Lives
Hygiene Kit Assembly
Join us to assemble "Soap Saves Lives" hygiene kits—filled with recycled soap and essential hygiene items—for women experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles.
Here’s how to get involved:
- Build a kit with soap, shampoo, toothpaste & more
- Personalize it with a note of care and encouragement
- All kits will be donated directly to the Downtown Women’s Center, an organization at the forefront of supporting and empowering women in need throughout Los Angeles.
Housing. Health. Dignity.
Founded in 1978, the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is the only organization in Los Angeles exclusively dedicated to ending homelessness for women through housing, wellness, employment, and advocacy. Your participation helps DWC continue to serve thousands of women with the respect and resources they deserve.
